Description

In Rise of the Crime Lord, Rick is an average guy who has a white-collar job. He's got an excellent job, but the rest of his life sucks. His marriage is on the rocks, his boss is an asshole, and he feels like his life is going nowhere. It sucks to be Rick, and he's tired of living this terrible life where he doesn't want to wake up and get out of bed every day. Rick discovers a world that most people only see in the movies. He's introduced to gangsters, criminals, and police officers who are crooked. Will Rick go back to his boring shitty life, or will he pursue a life of crime?

Is the game's creator aware that Chapter 10 isn't working on this site? It seems to be working for some people on his Patreon page. Not to mention the fact that he wants to take a break from the game. Right now, the game still ends after the evening spent with Cora, her girlfriend, and her Black boyfriend (plus our male protagonist, depending on our choices); we're supposed to have access to Chapter 10, which covers Cora's business trip and the camping trip with our male protagonist (again, depending on our choices).

So, what I'd really like to know is whether he's aware of this issue. If so, will there be a fix? It's been nearly three weeks since the update came out, with no further additions.

  I have had no issues with this. I was able to go on Coras business as the MC and the other version where she takes someone else.

The red dialog boxes need to be a more contrasting color like black or white. It's hard to read.

  I think that's there because you can make a few choices and/or hear the thoughts of the wife. That's usually the reasons they add that tag

why is a game with a male MC tagged with Female Protagonist ? shouldn't be here.

  Eventually, a female character becomes a secondary playable character. She's basically a secondary protagonist (although that is basically an oxymoron).

Please get an English speaking editor to go over this. I can understand the meaning of the sentences, but why not publish it in your own language instead of one you can barely speak?

  I'll add that he's reworking the game to make it more coherent while also working on the other chapters (a huge undertaking, basically 😂), but it hasn't been abandoned, according to what he says.

  From what I understand, he had a problem in January 2025 (something on his computer wasn't working). In February, he received the necessary parts to fix his computer. In March, he tried to change software (a graphics change? I don't remember). In September, he noticed that some choices weren't being saved (like the same character appearing in two different places, as if it were a clone). I haven't checked since.
