Description

In Intertwined, you're an 18-year-old guy who goes back to his hometown after living with his dad for five years. You try your best to restart your friendships and interactions with those who you were close to in the past. You also try to start new relationships with people who strike your fancy. You will soon discover that many of the people you meet are intertwined, and their relationships overlap. Connect the dots and see where your old friends and new relationships connect to see what they have in common.

To begin with this was a great game, a good story, several potential LIs, some mystery. A feature of a very good game is that, depedning on your choices, you can have the characters hating the MC; so your choices do matter.
Midway through (v. 12?) realised it was really a soap-opera: all the characters seemingly related to each other and a almost indefeatable nemesis. That's not in of itself bad, but it does perhaps reduces some believability and operas aren't known for good dramatic writing, no it's sensationalism and conlict. Decide for yourself how much that affects the story.
Now for the most recent update: too many fantasy scenes which hampers story progression. Why would the MC fantasise a full scene about somebody that he's already involved with!? The childhood LI seems to be in an even worse position.

I remember playing this way back when, I think this one really got me into VNs, I'm so happy it got fleshed out so well. I keep falling in love with every girl AND THEN YOU MAKE ME CHOOSE?! Haha, joking aside, looking forward to another playthrough exploring different paths, I really do think this is the best VN of all time.
