Description

In Wild Cats, you were once a rising star in the world of volleyball, destined for greatness until you pushed yourself too hard, shattering your shoulder and your dreams along with it. Now, you’re just a shadow of who you used to be, numbing the pain with bad decisions and aimless days.

But after a year of spiraling into despair, you receive an unexpected lifeline: an invitation from the Dean of Baskerville State University, a prestigious institution, offering you a chance at redemption through a unique scholarship. The catch? You must return to the sport you’ve abandoned, not as a player but as the coach of the women’s volleyball team.

What seems like a second chance quickly becomes an uphill battle. The BSU Wild Cats are a team plagued with deep-seated issues, each one a potential roadblock to your scholarship and their success. Yet, as you confront these challenges head-on, you begin to rebuild the team and yourself.

Can you lead the Wild Cats to victory and rediscover your own sense of purpose? The journey won’t be easy, but it just might be the one you need. Are you ready to step up and take the reins?

this is a great story. it's moving at a snail pace but it's still good. the scenes are very good! but there are way too few scenes for this beeing 0.3 you'd atleast expect a scene per character at this point.i definetly expected way more going from 0.2 to 0.3 after the long wait. hopefully the (prologue) is done now and it starts ramping up significantly in 0.4. best of luck lopaphi

The lack of real choices doesn't bother me at all. Yes, this is a "games" site, but this is clearly tagged as a "visual novel". Which is one of the things offered on this site, and if it's not your thing, then maybe look for that tag & avoid it? You know, as you'd do for other tags that bother you.

  On the plus side:
  - great job on the facial expressions, some of the best I've ever seen in a game!
  - story is decent
  - humorously suggestive wording is by the oblivious MC is humorous :)

  Now if you do want to gripe about something:
  - Am I the only one who gets lag on this game, but not most other ren'py titles? Nothing terrible, but enough to be annoying.
  - Not having a "hide" button is kind of annoying. Given the nature of the site, having "unobscured visuals" in a visual novel is helpful for... artistic appreciation. ;) Thankfully there's often a moment with no text during the key scenes, which helps a bit.

    Have you tried pressing the h key? That usually works in other vns/games. I haven't played in a while so I don't remember much and not sure this will even work.

Again! I have to say, that game genuinely gets to me. It is really thrilling, the story line and the characters are relatable and I enjoy every freaking minute playing and learning about the characters. Please keep up your awesome work! I can't wait for chapter four!

This is a good "game", as long as you don't mind just doing what the developer wants you to do. So yeah, not really a game after all.

Awful game, make you think that it has a lot of choice but 99% of the time if you don't choose the "good" option you get a game over, I just got maybe 20 game over in 10 minutes juste because I don't want my mc to be a complet pussy with no backbone.

  To be clear, that's not a positive or negative. Not everyone likes realism. Some people want to play shooters where you can be a bullet sponge and tank bullets, and that's ok. But being realistic doesn't make a game "badly designed", so long as it's clear what you're getting from the start, which this very much is.

  Sure the choices are fake, but they're clearly spelled out, there's no hidden surprises here. It's railroading, but in the sense that "make bad choices, get bad result". One could similarly say "shooters railroad me by forcing me to dodge bullets instead of tanking them, and if not, game over." Yep. That's realism.

  He is a broken person. That's story. You are allowed to not like the premise, but that doesn't make the game awful. The choices were meant to tease the player. It was absolutely obvious they would lead to a game over.
