Description

The Proteus Effect is a funny game of roleplaying. You are a man who has been pretty unlucky in his life but now things are looking up as he's just been hired for the job of his dreams. He is a playtester for a virtual reality game maker. But OMG you are somehow trapped in the virtual reality game now and have been put into the body of a sexy girl. You have to find a way out of this game as you travel through fantasies and try to find out why the game malfunctioned. Along the way, there are also lots of sexy adventures too.

is there a way to externally save "rpg games" savefiles? otherwise I just lose progress at every update

  Your browser has to setup to allow saving cookies. The game uses your browser’s cookies to save progress, so your saves might be lost due to:
  • Playing in incognito mode (which doesn’t store cookies).
  • Switching browsers or devices (saves are tied to one browser on one device).
  • The game updating, which can sometimes reset progress.
  • Clearing browser history, which may also delete cookies.
  
  To prevent losing your saves, try playing in a regular browser window, avoid clearing history or cookies, and always use the same browser and device. I setup MS Edge to allow saving cookies for this website and that is working very well.

This game wins the "Slow Grind" award because it drags on for hours with very few porn scenes. Initially, I thought it just had a slow start and would eventually get more interesting. Unfortunately eight hours later after endless quests and there are far too few sex scenes (2/5 stars).

its not worth wasting your time the game could have been ok but then it just ends after hrs of playing with some lame ending and like hell if im going to start over to see if there is another route which i doubt there is since there are few real choices its pretty much just forcing you down one path the whole time so yeah i waisted a few hrs of my life that i want back.

  This game drags on for hours with very little porn scenes (99% game play and 0.1% porn is a bad ratio). Initially, I though the game just had a slow start and would eventually get more interesting but sadly it gets worse with less porn scenes the further you play. I have lost interest in this game!!!
