In The Branded Mother, Alicia, a devoted priest serving a remote mountain village, dedicates her life to protecting the people from terrifying beings known as Evil Spirits, malevolent entities that possess humans and drive them into madness. After successfully exorcising a spirit that had infiltrated the local church, Alicia discovers a strange symbol on her lower abdomen. The mark, known as the Lust Mark, is a sinister curse created by the Evil Spirits to corrupt those who wield holy power.
Feeding on the deepest desires hidden within its victim, the curse slowly weakens their self-control and judgment. For Alicia, whose overwhelming carnal impulses have long been restrained through unwavering faith and discipline, the mark threatens to unravel everything she has fought to suppress.
