Description

In Summer with Mia, as the protagonist, an 18-year-old high school senior, you live with your parents and your attractive sister, Mia. The game begins two days before graduation. You are behind on your schoolwork and need to catch up to pass. While your parents are away on a week-long trip to France, you stay up late studying when your sister comes home drunk.

I mean - this was never an example of "peak storytelling", but I reached a point now, where it lost me completely.
It started some time earlier, but as soon as Emma finds out about MC and mum...it is simply too much.
Dev seems to have given up and just throws everything at you at once - and whatever little there was of a
"compelling" story is gone.
