Description

In Straitened Times, you live in a commune. The commune seems to have deep religious overtones. You live with a Holy Father and a couple of Sisters. The Father wasn't so holy, and he stole a bunch of money. Now the commune has to start all over again. The commune is now located in two basement rooms in a shady hotel. You can't afford anything else, but this place is as creepy as they come. You also have to share your room and bed with another woman. Who knew living in a commune could be so bizarre?

The whole game seems to be broken. It randomly ends because of the mother. Events have changed. If you wake up in the night, it's earlier than when you went to bed, or several days have passed even though I only wanted to sleep until 6:00 the next day. Very disappointing.
