C_TThis game definitely has some flaws like every game, but, I will say on the story level it is in my top 3 with Leap of Faith and Bare witness, absolutely love it!!

Shelly's Future Past is a sci-fi erotic time travel adventure centered around a 23-year-old lesbian woman named Shelly, living in the futuristic world of Cyber City in the year 3077 alongside her best friend, Triss. Shelly's life has been an emotional whirlwind, and her unique abilities will surface as the story unfolds. One day, a mysterious woman from the future appears, someone who knows Shelly intimately. She seeks Shelly's help to prevent the end of the world, which is being orchestrated by five powerful men who have taken control of Earth in the future.
Shelly initially believes her mission is to travel back in time to change the past and secure a better future. However, she soon discovers that her true task is to correct the timeline itself. To do so, she must visit five periods, each with a different woman whose pregnancy she must prevent. These pregnancies would otherwise lead to the birth of the ancestors of the five powerful men responsible for Earth’s downfall.
However, Shelly's task won't be simple, as one of the powerful men is also moving through time, determined to safeguard his bloodline and secure his future dominance.

Standard ReplyThe story starts off as a comedic farce with a buffoonish enemy and improbable situations. It was a fun, light-hearted romp. Later on the writing becomes tighter, story is more even, but potentially not as humorous. Despite me criticising how time travel is handled in this and other media ("How I Fixed the Future" is probably worse in this regard), this AVN should be commended for its unique premise with hints of (as mentioned in the AVN) Quantum Leap (TV series). In the end it is a genuinely original story and even more magnificent that it's feminist and lesbian. That's a remarkable niche against the mainstream and far majority of AVNs. Even when there's an fMC they're more often either being corrupted by people or circumstance. ¡Women are not just you're playthings! I immensely enjoyed the proud, independent, assured fMC. There's no overly passive MC here. All of the characters are more fully developed as we move through the story. They are warm and personable, there's some real chemistry between them. You can really get the sense they care for each other. It's a story full of heart, which again is vastly different to the overwhelming majority. Minor flaws are with the grammar and writing. The rather common "your" for "you're" and other things such as "afriad", i.e. "afraid" [free spell and grammar check available, hahaha].. grammar? what's that? who cares? The renders improve with more recent updates and there are some animations introduced, including some of the best displays of kissing in AVNs, if not the best (from the society for the banning of fish-face LIs) I hugely enjoyed this (it's a feature of a really good story if you're sad that it ended) and looked forward, with great anticipation, for further creative endeavours by SexyShelly.- Standard ReplyIt's "How to Fix the Future". Where, via time travel, they try to get rid of or prevent 1 evil man causing a major world changing event. Getting rid of them probably wouldn't have the effect you think i.e. prevent the event. c.f. 'the butterfly effect', 'chaos theory' and other ideas.
SexyShellyThank you, for my first AVN and at the beginning, was still learning coding, but as you have seen, near the end, I think I improved with telling my story, as for what's next, the sequel is already out with Becky as the fmc, which is called Becky's Reckoning, that's second part of the three part story, the final part of the story, goes back to Shelly, but that's a few years yet, but if you enjoyed this, Becky's Reckoning continues the story from Becky's birthday- Standard ReplyI'm enjoying Becky's Reckoning, she's a very confident young woman. It continues the family's story quite nicely.

- Standard ReplyFirstly it's great to see a strong, self-assured, proud, sexually confident female MC that isn't then corrupted to be the plaything of others (primarily men). The story however has a few issues: as per commonly in contemporary fiction we don't get character development or even much of a back story; the dialogue is odd, the fmc is too flippant (the fate of the world is at stake!), yet overcomes the antagonist with miraculous ease. The plot and theme is question begging: need to prevent 5 pregnancies to prevent 5 evil men; wouldn't preventing 1 or 2 be enough? why not? The one mega-evil time travel egotist inseminating women by probe. 1. he's easy to identify, more or less scary depending on the time period (they'd possibly call out the national guard in response); 2. how is he defeated per time-period: couldn't he keep trying and trying, or quickly travel from one time period to another while the fmc is floundering in another. Time travel is not done well in most formats, let alone in AVNs.
AreYouDocWHAT DO YOU MEAN TIME TRAVEL IS NOT DONE WELL... it doesnt exist as we know it... how can you say someone does it wrong... its fantasy... dear lord- DrJayA person can fault the execution of any story, game, premise, whether real or imaginary. Vampires aren't real, does that mean we can't say "this vampire movie is crap"? Same idea with games about time travel, the quality varies and can be judged, and if you want you can break down exactly what they did badly or well. .

So, your comment "as per commonly in contemporary fiction we don't get character development or even much of a back story" there's a backstory for the fmc and her partner and even there's a backstory for the antagonist as well, but that's all part of the story, which you are not near at the time of your playthrough Your other questions, actually do get addressed within the story, but, because you are only at the beginning of the story, there is 20 updates more to play, as I have released monthly updates since June 2024, the first time jump update was in June and July 2024, so you do have a lot more story to play, before you realize character development and backstory is already within the story And why the fmc, can do what she can do, all that gets answered, the more you play Now for a little plug, there is 5 more updates to go for Shelly's Future Past, for this part of the story to come to an end, then, the sequel is being released in March 2026, which is called Becky's Reckoning, which is a continuation story to Shelly's Future Past story but from Becky's pov, Becky is the fmc daughter
