On the technical side- I laughed when he said the voltage "jumps out". Voltage is just a difference in potential energy- it goes nowhere. Current flows in a completed circuit and is wholly dependent on the availble energy and the resistance of the circuit. You could have a 12 volt battery with 100 amp hours of storage or a 12 volt battery with a million amp hours-the current output still depends on the load. Ofcourse the million amp battery would last longer. What the Dev is trying to explain (poorly) is the energy density of this setup. That is total deliverable power/mass (weight) of the system. Thats why they use lithium and nickel hydride batteries instead of lead acid actually a regular alkaline battery puts out more power than either, but of course you can't recharge it.
