It occurs to me that even when one goes the trouble of trying to configure the parameters of this game and then sets out to make what many would know to be the "better", more humane choices on behalf of the protagonist, He's still a nasty piece of work. Many unfortunate choices have been made and the consequences of those choices become more apparent as the story continues. The chances for any kind of redemption for this character are slim... One might say maybe one in millions.... but then one only needs one chance.
