In Noblesse Oblige, you assume the role of an aspiring young Mage working as a personal tutor for gifted individuals in a wizard city-state. However, with great power comes great responsibility. For the uninitiated: Tír na Saoithe is Gaeilge (Gwail-guh), aka the Irish language, and means "Land of the Wise Ones" or just "Land of the Wise (plural)" and is pronounced "Teer nuh See-huh"

Willing to be everyone who has played this game has said the setting's name incorrectly (it's also spelled a bit wrong). It's Tír na Saoithe (Teer-nuh-see-huh) literally translating as "Land of the Wise Ones" or "Land of the Sages" into English from Gaeilge/Irish Gaelic.
