Description
In Lost Freedom, you play a man who unexpectedly learns he has a daughter when her grandmother reveals the truth. With her health failing, the older woman insists that you step in to care for the young woman, who is now an independent yet strong-willed adult about to be left on her own.
Though intelligent and beautiful, your daughter's spoiled nature clashes with your views, making you hesitant to form a bond. Unwilling to let you walk away, the grandmother devises a plan to force a connection between you. Even after meeting her, doubts linger, and you choose to keep your true identity a secret. However, just as you think you have control of the situation, your daughter makes an unexpected move, leaving you cornered.

Angry81Usually, when I write a review, I tend to get a bit too worked up, and I apologize for that... so this time I’d like to ask a question very calmly... why do you include choices that are supposed to let you pick your own path... when in reality they serve no purpose at all? Either the outcomes are identical, or the "game" heads in the exact same direction regardless of what I want. I don't get the point of making me believe I'm actually making a choice, when the developer has already set things up to override whatever I decide... I just want to know why—I swear I won't comment again after this...
AntaresFirst of all, the choices not always need to be splitting the story into branches, the choices can simply represent your character's personality, how he reacts to the situation. In life, not everything you do will determine the outcome, sometimes things are out of your control. Some choices do matter here though, for example when during sex you can choose where you cum, either the girl gets pregnant or not.
johnjrIf choices don't open up new paths, they aren't really choices at all. For example, if you confront your wife when she's about to cheat on you to try and stop her, but she goes through with it anyway, that choice didn't change anything—so it wasn't a real choice. What does the phrase "choices don't always need to split the story into branches" even mean? To me, it just means that only non-essential details are presented as choices, meaning they have no impact on the story's outcome. Either you're talking nonsense, or you're just being stupid.

- C_TI'm sorry but anybody saying this is a good story is crazy, first off the girl is an adult so she can be by herself and Agatha's geriatric ass saying that they didn't need the mc when Isabella was born, regardless of your feelings and possibly wanting to be in her life, but now she needs you in her life is dumb af. Then why is it so important to knock both the mc and Isabella out just to get them to know each other!? Just plain stupid and unrealistic writing!
- CenturiusDumb as hell the way it plays out and you have no real choice. It goes how the dev wants it to, but like...you have no option on whether you want to do something with the daughter or not really and when you do you act like a bitch about it and then treat her like shit because of your guilt. Just stupid.
Reodor FelgenThis looks really good, but it's also really short, so that's kind of unfortunate, but I guess it's something to look forward to if nothing else, so I can't complain too much—well, not yet at least.
