Karlsson's Gambit - Season 2 [v 0.8.31 FinalB1]

I tried this game as there were quite a few comparisons with 'Moving Down'....Which is a very cruel and nasty game. But the only similarity I found is that they both include slavery.

On the face of it, I should really like this game, yet I find myself coming back to it.
Heavy in femdom where women are the ultimate power and almost all men (and some women) are just there to work, subjugate, or torture for the womens' sick and twisted pleasures. The game pits the MC against this hierarchy, whether you aim to sub him or reach higher levels of autonomy as dominant or not, as well as being morally good or evil. There is 1 chance at the beginning for the MC to escape the worst treatment or not be a sub, after that you're locked into it.
It's somewhat unique that the player can make choices as other characters, most notably MC's sister (the same dom/sub good/evil points) as well as his brother and also some others in authority.
For the most part the MC doesn't really seem very important. One instance where he's crucial and only a few times that it hints he's more: either hope that he will become worthy (probably to impregnate his sister with his highly sort after heredity), or having some unique genetics that will help the authority/human race. But then there's a whole sub path where he's treated very cruelly and can even die – not by player failure. His sister can even be made to act against the player. Thus often he's not treated as the most important character in the story. Sister holds all the power. This paradox or contradiction is possibility the fundamental flaw of the game, trying to grind your way through playing a largely unimportant character — though I suppose some players like that entirely submissive character.
What I take from the story is that he's a fuck-boy and his sister, or another, is the ultimate saviour. I find that rather depressing view of the protagonist and cynical treatment of the player: as long as he's feed and can fuck he'll/we'll be happy, regardless of not having any control.
The MC is largely passive, somewhat explained by him not having any power or authority under the regime. He's also rather emotionless, especially when you'd expect some reaction after the significant revelations or hints. Even when he gets crucial information he doesn't react or link the pieces together. Nor does he act like any sensible person probably would when hearing insinuations or details about his family.
The story overdoes the trick of giving little bits of information but withholding the most important things. Over and over and over again some a revelation is delayed "to keep MC's sister safe". DON'T BOTHER TELLING HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE. An example of the shear terrible trick is when Dominique says
"…your father… was a very impressive man. I think you... would have been proud…"
So she knows his father, but the MC or player DOESN'T get the chance to push her on it. So it's handled trivially and dismissively. If you lived your whole life not knowing who your father was and somebody said that, what would YOU do?!
In S2 the non-sub MC is treated better, to the disappointment of those players who enjoyed the Femdom. Here it begins to seemingly switch plots, or become a mish-mash of plots, and in some instances the utter callous treatment of 'lower clases' doesn't make sense. It stops being all about the disparity of the ruling classes and others, it adds mass human survivalism and alien intervention.

If they do this type of stuff the Dev should really look into Operant and Classical psychology. Some of it doesn't make sense, i.e. punishing behaviours that you want. Some of the harsh/cruelty will make them insane and you couldn't anticipate what actions they might take, i.e. don't let them near any tools.
The number of leaders who might be attacked would be astronomical, even with embedded shock. It's a fine line between demeaning them to helpless docile playthings and share terror.
