info: no long tangents cause the memory is short so when doing this you have to exit and go back in so no stories unfortunately but if you go strait at it you can do that also sometimes saves are helpful but sometimes not so much so hope this helps ;P

AI's dumb as hell, often repeats itself and can't remember things, often doesn't take lead and the options dont make sense

  Yeah, the default is pretty bad. This game only really gets to be fun when you invest the money to use a better model. Also a large context helps the AI to keep things in mind. The smarter (and more expensive) the model gets - it seems - the more consistent the story gets.

As of today, the default endpoint (mistral.lyonadenet) is discontinued. Hopefully by the time you read this Forma has been updated to point at a working endpoint, or the game won't work at all UNLESS you use the Quick Setup (above) to point to your own endpoint.

Setting up a world:
1. main menu > options > system prompts > enter the part of your prompt that will be shared for ALL your worlds, I start with "Narrate the results of the Main Character's (MC's) actions as an erotic game narrator, given the current world information."
2. (optional) "DISABLED" in choices and stat updates section (I don't use these)
3. New World to create your new world. (I disable 3D avatars nearly always.)
4. Edit that world, and System Prompt Addition is where most of your game is defined as it should contain the premise, major events, and character definitions (including the MC).

    My (non-expert) impression is memory is context, which is basically how many words of Conversation and World Definition that the AI has access to when it responds. If it runs out, Forma tries to abandon context as it goes, and so AI responses will feel like an author writing a book where earlier "pages" of the story get torn off and forgotten. With the default free model, memory is quite short. With other models (quicksetup guide), there can be a lot more context (but even with huge context, the AI itself can end up forgetting things). Results vary a ton by model, so experiment to find models that give good results.

  Three more tips:
  - AI is not good at remembering relative position, relation between and current state of characters and objects. Use the notes-section to jot down important information about where something is, in what form or pose, how it is connected to something else and what it is doing. Improves what the AI is returning to you a lot.

    - Use the choices as inspiration. If you tweak the examples for choices and ask the AI to give options with more text it sometimes proposes something which is worth including in your prompts.
    - Try writing what is happening and then let the AI create what people do, see, hear or think. Example: "Person A is taking a step towards Person B, considering what they just said. Person A says:" especially deeper within a story when there is already some details it is incredible how well the AI can create content in line with the story. Something like "Person A ponders everything that happened since event X happened. They do a detailed summary in their had. They think:" can be really funny.

crazy game, lets you do what ever you want. gives you some precrafted answers, but you can type what ever you want. Love it 👍
