In Even in Sorrow, a Black Lily Blooms, Mary Miller lost her parents due to a car accident, and that removed her motivation to do anything else. Her focus now is to try and wait for time to pass until she can find interest in something else. She knows that there's a huge lack of excitement and feelings in her life. 

Yet out of the blue, a friend sends her a video and she gets to learn more about hypnosis. It allows her to better understand her feelings, while also removing the pressure from her expectations about the near future. But will she be able to get back on track?
