Description

In City Devil: Restart, you begin a fresh chapter of your life by attending high school. Along the way, you'll meet a diverse group of friends, including charming girls. However, as you explore the town, you'll notice mysterious and unsettling events. Strange people and unexplained phenomena may give you the creeps, especially with the main character's frequent nightmares. Your decisions shape the story and your relationships with other characters. Can you uncover the truth behind the city's secrets and capture the hearts of all the girls?

top shelf Ren.Py game.

- character models aren't shoddy(lazily made or slop) or hideous.
- story is actually coherent and the characters are solid and likeable in their own unique ways.
- dialogue is good and realistic, not absurd or written by an obvious virgin (seriously, adults who have sex in real life don't talk like a lot of these visual novel game authors seem to think they do. and sometimes it's painfully obvious. >.<)
- music is actually good, lowkey, and not insta-muted by me lol
- uses a lot more fully animated cutscenes than any other Ren.Py title I've seen thus far.
- carrot is not rewarded to player immediately, which gives the plot more drive and incentive for the user/reader

Genuinely amazing game. The animations become more and more stunning as the game progresses as well. The plot also seems to be very interesting as well. I'm interested to see where things lead for the characters. Absolutely underrated game, I highly recommend.
