In By Justice or Mercy, you become a reserved yet impulsive and ambitious young man. Accused of murder and forced to flee four years ago, you are now returning home with a singular purpose: reclaim what was unjustly taken from you. Fueled by an unyielding thirst for justice, you are determined to settle the score.

How will you define justice? What actions will you take to achieve it, and how far are you willing to go? Your choices will shape your journey, whether it leads to redemption, vengeance, or a delicate balance. One thing is sure: justice will not be served until those responsible have paid in full. The term landlady does not exist in the US. Landlord is used for male and female owners of a rental or leased property. Room mates are just a bunch of random people who know each other that share or split the property and share the costs of rent and utilities which does not fit into this kind of storyline. For some dumb reason they all share a last name without being related. Since the DEV decided to change the relationships, then the wording within the story should also be changed that reflects the generic content. Justice is irrelevant if just the landlord got killed. It's not like you lost a family member, you just get a new landlord.

Still no taboo relationships. I suspect more fans will find this just another lame story with lame relationships than it was originally. I guess, that is too bad for the fans. Changed my rating of this game from 5 to 1. Disappointed.

what the F was this for an update? no content so I guess they were just fixing that problem that person was having which I never encountered myself anywhere in the VN.....though I am assuming that it might have been something to do with Embedded image errors which almost every game on here encounters all the time after an upload :/

What's the deal with the weird relationships? It went from dad, mom, big sister, twin sister, and little sister to mentor/landlord, landlady, tenants, and friends/room mates. It's like they removed the fun taboo out of the story. Same as Emma's family, they took out the excitement to something no better than random strangers. The storyline is good, but could be better if they return back to the original relationships or at least make it an option.

  New rules (or enforcing old ones) seems like no more incest, even in fantasy. Some good games were, and are down due to this.
