Broken Promises game - As Jack Bates, you're tasked with infiltrating a criminal gang and putting an end to their activities. However, things get complicated when his long-lost friend and haunted past return to his life. It's up to you to use your resources, make difficult decisions, and do your best to keep your promises while trying to make new friends and new enemies. Those new friends will help you fend off the new enemies you come across. You're going to be dealing with some of the most ruthless people in the underworld, and you're going to need all the help you can get.

          First time playing the game, something feels off. It's as if a couple of scenes were removed from the beginning of the game, and we suddenly meet characters (supposedly for the first time), but the interactions say otherwise??

            Did I miss something or has the entire beginning of the story been deleted? I get that this is a Chapter 3, but since I can not find Chapter 1 or 2 I would have thought it would all be rolled together. Instead this picks up deep past the Chapter 1 I remember playing but waiting for update.
