In Alternative Shemevolution, history took a sharply different course as society began questioning traditional gender expectations far earlier and far more aggressively than in our world. By the year 2032, distinctions between masculine and feminine roles have become increasingly fluid, with culture focusing less on creating new identities and more on erasing the boundaries between the old ones. Scientific and medical breakthroughs have also revolutionized gender transition procedures, making them highly advanced and widely accepted.
The story centers on a university professor, a trans woman who has carved out a comfortable and respected life for herself. She is admired within academic circles, enjoys a successful career, and maintains a relationship with a caring boyfriend who meets most of her needs. From the outside, her future appears secure and uncomplicated. Yet a series of unforeseen developments gradually disrupts her sense of stability, forcing her to confront hidden tensions within both her personal world and the surrounding society.
