Before the disaster, Adam and his brother Tom served together in an elite covert military unit. Adam excelled in close-quarters combat and firearms, while Tom was a gifted strategist and hacker, capable of breaching any system and always planning several steps.
After leaving the military, the brothers built peaceful lives and started families of their own.
