    Mute your audio before this scene starts. It is a very common bug, muting fixes it.

If you have the problem with the game lagging you out at a specific moment, first try to save right before or second mute the sound before you go to the lagging screen. This mostly applies to all Renpy games.

  Does it only work with the "mute all" button? In this case, I tried it with the sliders down w/o the mute all and with the mute all button, and it only worked when I clicked mute all. I think some renpy games lack that option, so I'm just wondering in case of future problems, ya know.

    it also works with the sliders, its just easier so ypu dont need to know which one is the issue, but its usually the music slider.
