Based on a CYOA game, which is itself essentially an erotic fanfiction of Made in Abyss. Like all text-based games, you need a good imagination to appreciate it, but honestly, it's so well written that I was easily drown in.
Moreover, imagination is also required for the gameplay because the game more or less lets you make your own rules. The repercussions of your curses are often difficult to perceive in the gameplay, as are the powers granted by the relics (even if a good number of them are mentioned in unique interactions or inter-zone descriptions). A typical example is being overweight; I climbed the 9 levels of the abyss with a 30kg overload and then descended again while still being overweight, and I didn't experience any penalty.
The game is therefore primarily a management game, where a lack of knowledge forces you to start over several times, but also, and above all, a disturbing and captivating novel/fanfiction, much like the anime it is inspired by.
This is exactly the kind of "porn game" I'm looking for. A game that isn't just a simple visual novel and that truly explores fantasies of the impossible. One could criticize him for the use of AI, the use of illustrations for which I suspect he doesn't have permission, or the few bugs related to side quests, but the final experience surpasses these issues.
