In A Moment of Bliss, after a week-long vacation with a young woman named Petal, you return home at the request of your significant other. You and your ex-girlfriend, Rose, have been estranged for a year, but you've made the decision to try to mend your relationship. It's not going to be easy. Doing this sort of thing never is, but deep down inside, the two of you feel as if there's still something that you want to work out. How all of this plays out with the young lady you had a vacation with is anyone's guess!

MC and Petal are so annoying, unfair and judgemental that they truly crisp my nerves!!

MC gets all pricky and judges Rose for hiding her attraction for her daughters for a decade, but did he ever tell her that he was having sex with them now? No! Rose suffered for a decade and resisted her urges up to a fault because it affected her life in many aspects just for the sake of her kids. However, the pathetic whiney MC could not even last 2 days without succumbing to his weakness for the annoying brat and then Bliss.

The overall story and action is good, but intellectually the author's sociopolitical rhetoric is kind of a cancer. Lets just say there are no shortage of strawmen and double standards to keep the protagonist and any alternative points of view unfairly stuck on the back foot.

Hey PGH dudes... what does the wind say about Book 3 (Over the Moon)?

Will be having that released at all here whenever Lockheart can work on it and have it done... I know they are annoyingly slowed down and affected by this Grim Reaper trend shutting down creators lately.

I hope they can get Book 3 ready and we the player have a chance to read it too, so we can get a closure with this story. I truly hate investing myself with characters and the stories, only for external BS always bringing ruin to them.

Well damn secretly based on the description of this one I just wasted my time starting this series, so I don't get to choose whether to work on the old relationship of MC and Rose I HAVE TO well she had her chance she fucked up nothing to fix I'm done with her and that's that...and based on others comments you messed up everything the plot in the first one stated Petal said she wants me to fuck Rose too but never a random person but people are saying you fuck a whole bunch of other people in this one that's fucked up

I was so upset by Suzi's death. I get completely invested in the characters and the story...except for Topher, I wanted to kick him too. 😹

  The only problem with this book is that the timeline of events is too compressed, which affects the game negatively as it destroys the realism aspect.
  
  First week, MC was a whining (thankfully for realism) father learning to move on his sexual frustration (the only thing he cares apparently despite the BS lovedovey pep talk to Rose), but the next week (this game) he is a pro womaniser. Not a very convincing progression in such short time.
  
  For a story that shows so much interest in realism, development and pacing, this is a thumb DOWN
